The Teton mountains, which tower over Teton Valley, Idaho have snow on the peaks and we are expecting our first snow in the valley this week. Our local ski resort, Grand Targhee, is scheduled to open on November 20th, weather permitting. November and December are great months to visit Teton Valley, with many of the summer crowds gone, outside winter activities getting started, and fun holiday activities.
