Production and Land
The farm is currently planted in a 3 way grass mix that produces 3.2 – 3.5 ton per acre on two cuttings. A rotational reseeding program has been started in multiple sections of the field. Roughly 21 acres was reseeded into a grass alfalfa mix in 2023 and an additional 23 acres in 2024. It has been leveled and is irrigated by concrete ditch and dirt ditch. An appropriate number of ditches allow for even water distribution. Water is serviced through Riverton Valley Irrigation District.
Area
The Webbwood Estate is located along Webbwood Road and just under a half mile from Federal Avenue. Webbwood and Federal create one of Riverton’s most active intersections. Riverton is the largest community in Fremont County and is the hub of the surrounding area and portions of several nearby counties. Riverton has a thriving regional airport, and growing population. The city has seen significant business growth in recent years. Notable new businesses to the area include Murdochs, Sutherlands, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Kifaru, Haskell’s Furniture, and Legacy Injection Molding.
